Causes of Prejudice

Prejudice is defined as passing judgement on someone without knowing anything about them. It is basically just drawing your opinion off of the way people look and is usually based off of something that has affected you in the past. Some causes of prejudice are racial profiling, age profiling, or gender profiling. For example, if you are a sales company hiring for a sales person and you will only hire a young, white female, then your company is prejudice. It is basing it's decision off of looks alone and not off of your background or experience.
