There are many reasons for chest tightness.First, and foremost a heart attack can be associated with tightness in chest. You should seek medical attention if you are feeling tight in the chest. There are other reasons for chest tightness, a lung infection such as bronchitis can cause this feeling. Also, anxiety can cause a person to feel like their chest is tight. No matter what the reason is, if you are feeling a tight chest you should seek medical attention.
