Chew and Spit Eating Disorder

The chew and spit eating disorder is when you buy or prepare food, chew it to enjoy the flavor and then spits it out instead of swallowing it. Reportedly those with this disorder do so to block any calorie intake. This disorder is extremely harmful as it stops the body from getting the proper amount of nutrients needed on a daily basis. Also, a person suffering from this would also be more prone to get painful stomach ulcers as the stomach produces acid preparing to break down food, but then never receives the food to process! Ironically, a person who chews and spits food typically ends up gaining weight instead of losing any because depriving the body of food will increase insulin production, thus increasing one's blood sugar and appetite.
