Cure a Dogs Upset Stomach

There are natural ways and some medicines that can help cure a dog's upset stomach. Before using any of the suggestions please contact your dog's veterinarian. A dog will eat grass to naturally cure an upset stomach but there will be times that this may not be enough. Remember to keep your dog hydrated, especially if they are experiencing diarrhea. It may help to give your dog a little Pepto Bismol but contact your vet to find out the right dosage. A natural cure would be to fast your dog for 24 hours to allow the bacteria to pass through their system. If you dog is feeling better after 24 hours then introduce bland food like plain rice or steamed chicken. Mint tea is also used as a natural remedy. Fix your tea as usual and let it cool before giving a small dog up to one mug a day and large dogs three mugs a day.
