Diagram of Vaginal Opening

Go to this website for a labeled medical diagram of a normal vagina. http://www.medical-look.com/systems_images/Vagina.jpg There are many parts to the vagina serving various purposes. The clitoris is toward the front of the body or top of the vaginal area and is a small button shaped organ. The clitoris is a highly sensitive organ and it's sole purpose is sexual arousal. When it is stimulated, it will enlarge slightly creating more sensation. The urethral orifice is just below the clitoris and is where urine exits the body. Below that is the vaginal opening where blood and fluids leave the body during menstruation. Surrounding these three areas are the labia minora (inner lips of the vagina) and outside that is the labia majora (the outer lips of the vagina). Hair typically surrounds the vagina after puberty which happens at different ages, but usually anywhere from age 9-14.
