Different Types of Schizophrenia

There are different typs of schizophrenia. One of these types is paranoid schizophrenia. Paranoid schizophrenia presents auditory hallucinations or delusional thoughts on conspiracy. With disorganized schizophrenia, daily routine tasks, such as brushing teeth or combing hair can be forgotten or the ability to do these tasks will be lost. With the catatonic subtype of schizophrenia, the patient's movement is greatly affected to the point where the patient's voluntary movement has stopped. With the residual subtype of schizophrenia, the patient no longer shows prominent symptoms of the disease. Finally, there is the undifferentiated subtype of schizophrenia. With this particular subtype, symptoms of schizophrenia aren't specific enough to be diagnosed with a general subclassification of schizophrenia.
