Effects of Smoking Sage
Smoking sage can irritate your lungs. You may get a bit of a buzz from smoking the sage but it is not because of any illicit substance in the sage. Native Americans used sage in spiritual ceremonies. Self proclaimed" Hippies" often burn sage to calm themselves as well.
Smoking anything is really not a good idea. It can cause irreversible damage to lungs and other parts of your body. IF you must, you could do as President Clinton did and NOT INHALE!
