How Do You Replace Electrolytes

Electrolytes are minerals made up of sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium. To replace these important minerals back into your body, you should eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, broccoli, oranges, artichokes and spinach are all high in potassium and magnesium. If you are an on the go type of person, you should try drink your electrolytes. Beverages that would be great to add to your diet are sports drinks that are high in carbohydrates. This is great for after you work out. An electrolyte substitute in the form of a tablet is also great. These can be purchased at your local health food store.
