How to Deal with Condescending People
A condescending person can be very difficult to get along with. Some instances, such as with a condescending coworker, may force you to deal with it daily, but you still should not tolerate it without addressing the issue. If the condescending person is a coworker or a boss, arrange a meeting with him/her and another party to serve as a mutual witness, and express your concerns. Be civil and precise, but stern. In all cases, you should make it clear that you don't appreciate being spoken to in a condescending manner. Be prepared to give specific examples if asked. Once you have addressed the issue, let it go and carry on with life. If it continues while at work, you should formally file a complaint. If it's a family member or a friend, you can talk to them about it again if the relationship is valuable enough for you to keep. But if you can do without the condescending person and they aren't willing to change their ways, cut them out of your life.

Don't, whatever you do, lower yourself to their level and be rude or condescending back. Instead, try and unsettle them by either trying to finish their sentences for them or staring intently at their left earlobe as they condescend you.
