Lower Left Abdominal Pain
Lower left abdominal pain can be caused by many different things. Some common causes are: kidney stones/infection, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, Crohn's Disease, ectopic pregnancy, endometriosis, ovulation, ovarian cysts, injury, cancer, aortic aneurysm, inguinal hernia, torn colon, ulcerative colitis, seminal vesculitis, tuboovarian abscess or diverticulitis. Since the causes can be so varied it is important to note any other symptoms that might come with the pain like fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. Seeing a Dr. is always a good idea since he can run tests and knows what to look for to rule out various things and find the source of the pain.
