Medical Causes of Leg Cramps
There are many reasons and medical causes of leg cramps. If they are happening at night, you might want to consider restless leg syndrome or Parkinson's. After walking or exercise could just be fatigue, but could also be intermittent claudication caused by arteries closing. You might also want to consider any new medications you are on, as this can sometimes be a cause. It may also be that you overworked them or you are dehydrated.
