Ovary Size
The ovaries are small, walnut sized lumps of tissue that are about one inch away from the top of the uterus on either side. The ovary is a reproductive organ, often found in pairs as part of the female reproductive system. Ovaries are oval shaped and measure approximately 3 cm x 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm. Each ovary is attached to the fallopian tube which is also a part of the female reproductive system. Usually each ovary works by taking turns releasing eggs every month.
