Quadriceps strain is common in sports like football and baseball. Quadriceps strain is a little tear of small fibers of muscles in the quadriceps group. Quadriceps is the largest muscles in the front of the thigh. Quadriceps runs from the hips to the knee. Quadriceps strain can be caused by Running, Basketball, football, Long jumps and hurdles. All of these sports consist of the quadriceps over stretching. The symptoms include: pain, tenderness, stiffness, weakness, and bruising in the front thigh. When you see a physician and give them the symptoms they will give you a definite diagnos.
