Remedy for Voice Loss
Laryngitis is the medical term for voice loss. It's a common occurrence, especially for people who speak or sing frequently. Laryngitis also usually accompanies colds and sore throats. Remedies for voice loss include staying away from dusty environments, humidify the air in your home, refrain from clearing your throat, gargle with saltwater or vinegar and suck on a lemon. There have been testimonials that sucking on small slices of garlic or ginger helps reduce inflammation as well. If your voice loss continues past a week and is accompanied with sore throat, body aches or excessive mucus, it's recommended to seek medical attention.
