Hi a few days ago I noticed a swollen white taste bud on the tip of my tongue I assumed I must of bit it or burnt it on spicy wings. ... me too! tiny sore bumps on the tip and sides of tongue. never did I think something so small and relatively inconspicuous could hurt so much... any ideas folks? - this sucks!

I have been experiencimg great discomfort for the past four days and nights due to a few little white bumps on the tip of my tongue. ... It doesn't sound serious but any sore that doesn't heal must be investigated.A steriod ointment would be beneficial but you need a prescription for that.

Sometimes, I have red ones (along with the white ones) that just hurt...but the white ones are EXTREMELY irritating and make me bite them, which cause me to cut holes in my tongue and becomes very sore. At times, I gnaw n gnaw until my mouth/jaw...

pimple like bump on the far left side of my tongue. It's really sore, it's been there for about 3 days now. It looks as though the what part is ... i have that too...but all of us sharing we have sore bumps on our tounges doesn't answer questions as to what it is or what caused it...does anyone know the answer to that?
