Spot Found on Lung
If you have had an x-ray lets say of yout spine or another body part and it has come up that there was a spot found on your lung, you should seek advice and attention from a pulmonary professional ASAP. A spot found on the lung does not automaticaly mean cancer, and could be scar tissue or in some rare cases just a fluke. But do not leave something as serious as that to chance, go see a doctor, get another x-ray done and even a biopsy to make sure you are healthy.

Just to put your dad's mind at rest I had a spot on my lung diagnosed through Xray at 34 years of age, ... Yesterday my father was told that a spot was found in his lungs on his x-ray. She ordered a CT scan and found a spot on my lung and a spot on my liver. Next, she ordered a MRI scan which I have not found out the results yet and its driving me crazy. Is it common to see "spots" on these tests and could it just be nothing?

I was hospitalized in January for 5 days with pneumonia/partial left lung collapsed,found spot in left lung.I was able to shake the pneumonia then,but am still short of breath,weak,pain in front left chest, on side, and in upper left side of back,and I wheeze at times,I was put in hospital again in April for 9 days...
