Symptoms of Diabetes

There are two major types of diabetes. Type 1 and Type 2. Common symptoms of both types of diabetes can include, fatigue, feeling constantly tired, unexplained weight loss, excessive thirst, as the high blood sugar levels overwhelm the kidneys ability to reabsorb the sugar, excessive urination, another way the body tries to rid itself of the excess sugar, which often leads to dehydration. Excessive eating, as the body produces more insulin to try to deal with the extra sugar in the blood. Insulin stimulates hunger. Poor healing of wounds, as sugar in the blood prevents white blood cells from producing efficiently. A diabetic may suffer with more infections, such as yeast, skin, and frequent urinary tract infections. A diabetic may also suffer with a change in mood. Irritability, agitation, have a poor attention span, lethargy, or confusion. Please visit this site for more detailed information. http://www.emedicinehealth.com/diabetes/page3_em.htm
