Types of Poison
There are many types of poison. "Poison" Ivy, sumac, and oak are plants. These types of poison have an oil that can get onto your skin and cause a rash. Some poisons are ingested while others are used to kill birds or living organisms. Names of some poisons end in the suffix -ide.
