What Is Impulsive Person

To understand what an impulsive person is like, we first need to know the meaning of the word "impulsive." It means to proceed from a natural urge within with regard for possible repercussion. Thus an impulsive acts before they think through the action they take. For example, a cautious person might approach schoolwork with a logical method of studying, doing homework, and preparing classwork. This person will not allow anything to distract them from the job at hand. An impulsive person may sit down to do their homework, then feel the urge to jog around the block instead. The impulsive person is more prone to jump up, abandon the homework, and go for a run. They might not get their work done, but they feel fulfillment by following their impulses.
