Building a Snare Trap

When building a snare trap, make sure you put it in a place where the rabbit usually travels. Be sure to hide your scent. Make sure your snare is made of non-ferrous wire. One end of the snare has to have a running eye that you will thread the wire through to make a noose. Then you attach a strong piece of string to the snare. Cut a stake out of a medium branch and sharpen one end. Cut a notch at the opposite end of the stake near the top so the string won't slip. Stake it firmly into the ground next to where you want to place the snare. Attach the string to your snare to the notched part of the stake. Lastly, set the snare, secure it, then cover it with brush to camoflauge it.
