Types of Minnows

The minnow family is the largest of all fish families. There are many different types of minnows. Some of the larger varieties include river chub, fallfish, cheek chub, goldfish, and carp. Some of the smaller varieties include stoneroller, golden shiner, and common shiner. The smaller minnows usually only live three to four years.
