Antique Wash Basin Water Pitcher
An antique wash basin water pitcher is an old pitcher that would sit in a basin. Normally the basin was made of a ceramic. The ceramic basin would sit down and then the water pitcher had a handle on it and it would sit in the basin. It looked like the pitcher to like lemonade. They would use this to wash their faces and hands in the past many years ago.

Pottery : Antique : Jug ... This is a substantial pitcher from a 19th century jug and basin set. The jug is 11 3/4" to the tip of the handle and over 11" at it's widest point. It is wonderfully decorated with deeply embossed swirls and lovely bouquets of dark blue flowers.

One outstanding feature sitting on the cupboard was an antique wash basin with a water pitcher that was lost in the fire too. On the wall was a large framed picture of William Penn Adair Rogers (Will Rogers). On one wall was a covered wooden container where flour was kept, usually 100 lb. bags.
