How to Treat Cinch Bugs

How to treat cinch bugs has become a challenge because they have become resistant to almost every pesticide used to control them. There are two insecticides that stand out for the effective treatment today. Talstar (which contains Bifenthrin) and Acephate. Talstar has become the best performer in eliminating cinch bugs in lawns. For the best results, wet the grass thoroughly before applying the insecticide. The Talstar works well where the cinch bug infestations are heavy, so the need to re-treat the area in two weeks to kill recently hatched insects is not necessary as it would be if you used Acephate.
