Abstract Nouns
Abstract nouns refer to things we can't see, hear or touch as in ideas or concepts. Other examples include, success, courage, hospitality, justice and beauty. Since a number of words function in different ways, it may be difficult to identify an abstract noun. Some words, for example may refer to an action - love and hate - and are considered a verb.
