Book Genre Types

There are dozens of book genres and book types. A genre describes the content within a book. Genre applies to what the book is about, the essence of the book and the audience it's geared to. A type of book describes how it's published, manufactured and structures, such as fiction, non-fiction, memoir, etc. Examples of book genres are children's books, romance novels, thrillers, how-to guides, and young adult literature.
