Funny Acronyms
People make up funny acronyms all of the time. Sometimes this can be code for what they really want to say but can't say aloud in someone's presence. Sometimes it is just an inside joke amongst friends. Here are some favorites. CRC stands for 'cant remember crap.' PIB stands for 'pain in the butt.' HC is for 'has cats.' WWXD stands for 'what would Xena do?' (for fans of Xena the Warrior Princess). Your new excuse for bad weaving while you drive can be, "Sorry, I have PHD." When asked what that is, you can say it is 'pot hole dodging'. The next time you enjoy one too many beers, remember this acronym BEER, which stands for 'beginning enjoy, ending regret.' The next time someone tells you they have an MBA, you will likely laugh when you remember this acronym "Mentality Below Average". NATO has an alternate meaning of 'no action talk only.'

For instance, if I wanted to end a statement with a grin, to show that I was being humorous, I'd end it like this <g>. Or if what I wrote was exceedingly funny, I'd be <ROFL>. ... I'm always collecting new acronyms...please submit your favorite acronyms using the following form. TIA!
