How Do You Turn a Decimal into a Fraction

To figure out how do you turn a decimal into a fraction all you have to do is change the decimal into a numerator, that is, the number which is situated on the top in a fraction. To decide what the denominator will be, you simply have to put as many zeroes as the number of decimal places in the numerator. For example, 0.25 if turned into a fraction would be 25/100 which is equals to 1/4 when simplified and you have obtained your corresponding fraction. To turn the fraction back into a decimal is even simpler. All you have to do is simply perform the division process between the denominator and numerator - 1/4 equals to 0.25.
