Indignant

The word indignant is an adjective defined as feeling, characterized by, or expressing strong displeasure at something considered unjust, offensive, or insulting. It is usually used in description of an expression (i.e. indignant look on someone's face) or a remark. It is also the root word in the expression righteous indignation referring to a strong displeasure felt combined with one's right to feel that way.
