Singular Noun

A singular noun is used when there is only one of the items. It is usually easy to detect a plural noun. This is not always the case. A plural noun doesn't always have an s on the end of it. For example men is the plural form of man. Men doesn't contain an s at the end of it. You need to distinguish whether there is only one of the noun being talked about or if there is a group of them. If there is only one then it is a singular noun.
