Southern Dialect

Southern dialect is generally spoken from people from the south part of the United States. Their words are drawn out instead of spoken quickly. Also the words of southern dialect are not spoken clearly. Some people from up north may find it hard to understand southern dialect because they speak very fast and clear. Southern dialect may also include broken english like instead of saying 'you guys' a southern would say 'y'all' (you all). Southern dialect has a greater or deeper accent in the more rural areas of the south.
