Trepidation

According to the Random House Webster's College Dictionary, there are two separate definitions for the word trepidation. The first definition: tremulous fear, alarm, or agitation; perturbation. The second definition is: a trembling or quivering movement. So, to use this in a sentence: When she was grabbed from behind she full of trepidation. Another example: When she heard a noise from downstairs, her body was filled with trepidation. This word would be a great word choice to use when writing. You're teachers, co-workers, and/ or friends just might be impressed.
