Age Labrador Retriever Full Grown

Labrador retrievers are very loving and loyal dogs. They really make a great family pet because they have a good temper. The breed comes from Canada and was bred originally to hunt small game. They were once known as the Lesser Newfoundland are. This breed is often distinguished by its color and named accordingly such as Golden, Silver, Chocolate, Yellow, White and Black Labrador retriever. It can take up to three years for a lab to mature and stop growing. They are relatively large, with males typically weighing 66-79 lbs and females 55-71 lbs and the typical height for a lab is 24 inches tall. The male lab tends to be a bit larger than the female lab. Their life expectancy is generally 12 to 13 years.
