The biggest crab in the world can be considered the Japanese Spider Crab. Fully grown. the Japanese spider crab can grow to have a leg span of about 13 feet. It can have a body size of about 15 inches. Japanese spider crabs can weigh 44 lbs. Japanese spider crabs typically live at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean surrounding Japan and feed on dead animals and shellfish. They have been known to live up to 100 years.
