Breed of Cat That Does Not Shed

All animals with hair shed. There are however, hairless cats. While they do in fact have a downy fine hair on them, it is very fine and not very noticeable. The other thing that cats shed is dander. This dander is generally what most people are allergic to. Even hairless cats have dander. The breed of cat that produces the least dander is the Siamese. These cats may be suitable for homes in which someone is allergic, but touching the cat may still produce a reaction.
