CC Letter to Someone

CC in a letter means a carbon copy. Usually you use this on a letter when you are sending something to more than 1 person. Most of the time this is used in a business letter to show other people or businesses the same information. All parties receiving the information know all other parties have also received information. CC is used a lot in reference to legal documents. This is proper way to inform all parties of the forwarded copies. If no an email you would normally put at the bottom of the page who was cc.
