Calculate Area of an Irregular Shape
There are a few ways to calculate the area of an irregular shape. The first method involves measuring the distance from the center point at 10 degree intervals. You then average the totals to give you an average radius number. You can then use the formula for a circle which is Area =(pi) r2. The other method is to break the irregular shape into regular shapes and use the appropriate formula.
