Care for Injured Wild Bird

It is not recommended to care for an injured bird. If you find one, then you should leave it alone. If you think it is somewhere unsafe, then pick up and put it on something higher where a snooping cat may not find it. It isn't true that the mother won't come back to it if it smells your scent on the baby. On this note, you still want to touch it as little as possible. The scent you leave on it could attract predators. If you need more help on taking care of an injured bird, go to www.wild-bird-watching.com.
