Cos Sin Tan Table

Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that means "measurement of, with and by means of triangles". Astronomers as early as 150 BC developed the study of trigonometry. However it was not until around 1500 AD the trig. ratios (sine, cosine and tangent) were established. Right triangles are important when making calculations with the trig ratios. A link to trigonometric ratios, or a cos sin tan table can be found at http://math2.org/math/trig/tables.htm.

Notice also that as the cos(c) increases, the sin(c) decreases. If we incline the ladder so that the base is 6.938 feet from the wall, the angle c becomes 30 degrees and the ratio of the adjacent to the hypotenuse is .866. Comparing this result with example two we find that: ... Button to Display Table of Tan(a)
