Dog Marking inside the House

Dog marking inside the house can be very annoying. You may be finding puddles of urine on the floor that could be a sign that the dog couldn't or didn't want to go outside. Marking is normally done when they urinate on an upright surface such as a doorway, a table leg, or piece of furniture. Dogs instintively use urine to mark their territory to show their dominance. They may be doing it to claim something they feel belongs to them. This type of behavior can also be a sign that the dog is experiencing feelings of insecurity or prehaps separation anxiety, or anger.
