Indica Vs Sativa
The Cannabis plant is a flowering plant most known for its association with marijuana. Cannabis strains are divided into three major groups: indica, sativa and hybrid or a mix of indica and sativa. The indica plant is a short palnt approximately 3 to 6 feet tall and produces a thick, more pungent smoke when burned. Common varieties of indica include Amstel Gold, Celtic Cross, Northern Lights and Purple Star. The sativa plant is taller and grows approximately 8 to 12 feet. The smoke of the sativa plant is also more mild. Bazooka, Maui Waui, Silver Haze and White Cloud are more commonly known sativa varieties. In terms of use (or popularity) users are divided fairly equally.

i'm gona say 95% of the people here have never smoked sativa. indica grows faster and is a better cash crop but for me it is sativathrough and through. well sometimes I like couch lock after a hard day. ... ive never smoked sativa indica all the way ... Re: Indica vs. Sativa ... any humble opinions as to whether it was indica or sativa? also, it was a very bright green homegrown, with not a big concentration of hairs or crystals, but very healthy buds, with nothing but on healthy stem going thru the middle of each bud.

Women also might prefer Indica while they are having cramps while their artist/musician boyfriend might prefer Sativa, which would be a total role reversal from what was posted in the OP. Anyway, I always enjoy hearing about the Indica/Sativa debate.....Have we figured out what the difference comes from?

This is from the FAQ at www.smokersguide.com : 10. "What is the difference between Indica & Sativa?" ; Indica and Sativa are both cannabis strains. Indicas are notably squatter with more crystals while Sativa is more elongated with its crystals kept in the core.
