With today's technology you can find just about anything you're looking for. You can find your house on a satelite map, with google earth. Have a look at your house from the sky view perspective. You can even find out what latitude and longitude your house is at. Usually you just type in an address and you can find out the co-ordinates. There are several of these utilities online.
