A list of wading birds maybe lenghty. Wading birds are birds than occurs in areas of shallow waters and pond. These are the birds we can find around the pond in residencual areas. The birds for the most part are harmless. Some of the names are the Stork, Woodcocks and the Rail . You can learn more about them at the web site www.faculty.ucr.edu.
