Math Symbols
Math symbols are shorthand marks that represent the mathematical concepts that expresses an action, value, or statement. The most common symbols are taught in basic math classes as a basis for building upon. For example a + sign signifies to add numbers together, where a minus - sign indicates the order of subtraction. An equal sign = states a value or a relationship (i.e. 10-6=4, 5+5=10 or A=B). There are the < less than and > and greater than signs that signify a comparison.
