Pharmacy Math Problems
Pharmacists deal with some very important things. Measuring the correct amount of a prescription, calculating the correct dose and ensure there are no drug interactions. If a pharmacist makes the slighest math error someone could have a serious side effect or death may even occur. It is very important that pharmacists are accurate and correct every time. An example of a pharmacy math problem may be something like this: a patient weighs x, the doctor orders x grams/minute of a medication. The medication is mixed with so many grams of something for the solution. What is the rate of infusion of drug x?
