Printable Pedigree Charts

Printable pedigree charts can be found at many websites online for free. There are several different types including family group sheets and pedigree charts. Family group sheets include vital information for one family each (listing mom and dad on top and all children from the union at the bottom). Pedigree charts list parentage starting with a #1, and lists out the generations numerically. With some of the charts, you can save them to your computer first and then fill in the blanks, making it possible to type in the blanks instead of having to write them in by hand. If you do decide to write in the blanks by hand, it is recommended that you print out practice sheets first and get all of the details in the blanks. Then if you decide to make a prettier version for framing or scrap booking, you can print it out on nice paper (perhaps parchment), and hand letter it with calligraphy, simply copying from the rough drafts.
