Tabby Cats
A tabby cat is not a breed, but a color pattern. They have stripes. You can usually find the tabby pattern in almost all domestic cats. You can even see tabby markings on a black cat lying out in the sun! A calico is considered a tortoise type of tabby or patch tabby. There are about 25 breeds that have the tabby pattern in it.
