Types of Erosion

There are four identified types of erosion. Erosion can occur when you have water, ice, gravity and wind elements. Water erosion comes from chemicals being in the water and it's also based on the force of a flowing river. Wind erosion occurs when objects such as rocks and pebbles are carried off in the wind which in turn, can hit landforms while eroding the material off them. Ice erosion comes from glaciers with the combination of water, picked up sediments, and ice causing a huge erosion. Gravity erosion comes from steep slopes.
