When you get a new puppy, you should ask if it has had any shots yet. If the answer is no, then you need to take it to your veterinnarian so you can get it set on a vaccination schedule. There are many different shots that puppies can get depending on their breed. The most popular shot that they give puppies now is called the DHLPPcv shot. This gives the puppy six different vaccines at one time. It covers Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Porvovirus, and Coronavirus. Once you visit your veterinnarian they will get you on a vaccination schedule.
