What Do Catfish Eat

Catfish eat pretty much anything and everything they can find. Including other fish, worms, night crawlers, and anything else living in the water that is small enough. Bigger catfish will eat smaller catfish. They are also known to eat algae and plants if there aren't any other fish around. All catfish like to eat stinky food, especially things that smell fishy. They prefer to feed off the bottom but at certain times of the day will go to the surface in search of food. For anglers, the best bait is stinky, live bait, but you can also use chicken livers, shrimp, hot dogs, and cheese.
