Black P Stone Nation Lit
The Black P Stone Nation is a gang started in Chicago. There is an interesting article at www.ngcrc.com/bpsn2003.html, regarding the BPSN. It is a mostly Islamic gang started in the 1960's. Originally they were known as the Blackstone Rangers. Jeff Fort was the first leader. He is currently serving time for terrorism in conjunction with Libya. There are several yahoo groups that discuss this gang.

Brief History: The Black P Stone Nation was originally formed in Chicago, Illinois and is one of the few Los Angeles gangs that has a history that goes back to another City. During the early to mid 1960s, The Blackstone Rangers formed on the Southside of Chicago.

The Rangers would be renamed the Black P. Stone Nation and then the El Rukns, as Fort and the Ranger leadership became Muslims. The "Grand Temple" was the central meeting place for the El Rukns, and was raided by police and demolished.

Jeff Fort, as leader of the Black P. Stone nation, brought Larry Hoover an offer to incorporate the Gangsters as part of the Black P. Stone Nation’s structure as Gangster Stones and offered Hoover the less favorable position as an ambassador within the Black P. Stone Nation.
